(Because I have so many people ask about my drawing, I thought I'd take a few moments to explain the creative process. I use Strathmore paper, usually medium texture for pencil, rough for charcoal, Bristol smooth for ink. Normally I use pencils #4B and #6B, HB and 2H. I begin with an image in my mind and do a rough outline on the blank paper in geometric shapes. When drawing people, sometimes I use magazine pictures for poses or expressions. I then go through a process of adding detail to my shapes or flesh them out starting with bone structure, then muscles, etc. I draw backgrounds last and finish the drawing off with some textured shading techniques. The average drawing takes me about four to six hours to complete.)
