Well I've updated--sorta. I changed the picture of me on the bio page and I'm writing this, but that's it. I'm not sure
if there will be any more updates to this site after this. I hate to say "never" though as who knows what the future
may bring. The site still sees lots of traffic so I'll keep it up, current and functioning, but I don't think I'll be adding
any new content--for a couple of reasons:
One, I haven't been inspired to write or draw anything in this fandom for awhile now. My passion for it has definitely
waned. Second, Tripod has changed its sitebuilder so much, I don't think I could figure out how to add something new even
if I wanted to.
Thank you all for your kind comments about this site and its content over the years. I've met some pretty fantastic people
because of Purple Passions and I certainly don't regret all the time and effort that went into building it. I hope it continues
to bring enjoyment to all the ABVH fans who visit it for years to come.
Sincerely,
BeElleGee

Happy Labor Day!
This update is more for maintenance than anything. By chance I discovered almost half the links to other ABVH sites I
provided no longer work. I took down the ones that I had no new url for, assuming the site no longer exists, and corrected
the urls on the sites I was provided a new url for.
I also fixed the music. I turn it off while I'm updating because it gets too annoying with all the page skipping I do
and apparently I forgot to turn it back on. This too was discovered by chance.
Please, anyone who visits here in the future, should you discover a problem with a link or the general function of this
site, be so kind as to let me know about it. If no one else is going to care about this site, why should I?

I'm still here, sportsfans. As a matter of fact, I recently finished the latest novel in the series, The Harlequin.
Not great, but not bad to the point I'll more than likely pick up the next one and read it too. I'm also "hanging in
there" as far as the fandom goes. I still hear from other fans now and then and have maintained enough interest of
my own to keep up this site.
So without further ado, I have a small update for those of you sticking it out with me. I was commissioned earlier this
year to do a new, full-body portrait of Damian. You may find the finished product on the artwork page under the title, Damian
Reclining.
Also after almost a year of being nominated, I was recently informed that my fic "Wicked Ways" had in fact won
in its category. I have the winning banner posted on the awards page for your admiring pleasure.
That's it for now. Feel free to contact me should you have any comments, questions, whatever regarding this site and
its contents. You know I love to hear from you.
Til next time,
BeElleGee
It's...what the hell is the date today anyway? Oh right, May 12th.
An update in less than six months! Rejoice all! Two new fics up as well in the fanfiction 2 archive by yours truly.
One is called Sugar-N-Spice and features everyone's fave child vampire, Valentina. The second I wrote for my lovely and talented
friend Shadow of the Stain in exchange for a fic she wrote for me. (Hopefully upon completion I will be able to post that
here as well.) This fic is called Black Coffee and features Caleb and an original female character created and based on Shade
much like the character Calica was. Very naughty fic. Had to put an NC-17 rating on that one so if you're underage, please
enjoy S-N-S instead.
I'm still learning the new html additions to Tripod sitebuilder and although they're not perfect looking, they are readable.
I've had them up on the PDS fanfiction site for awhile and am about to take them down from there so if you haven't read them
yet, here's your chance.
No new art I'm afraid 'cause the scanner is still on the fritz. I am drawing, I just can't load anything. Hopefully
the birthday fairy will see fit to deliver me a new one since the b-day is just around the corner.
Till next time,
BeElleGee

Hello again!
It's been awhile since I've done a "proper" update, I know. I do have a few new trinkets added this time that
I think will be enjoyed.
First is a little fic I stumbled across by the vastly talented Marasmine called "Tomorrows". This is a simple
little fic centered around Damian and Nathaniel. Told from Damian's POV, it gives the readers an insightful look at how someone
like Damian feels about being metaphysically tied to someone like Nathaniel. Very well-written.
I also have a new link added to my collection. This is a roleplaying site--something I have not featured here before--called
"Pomme De Sang". Not to be confused with the fanfic site of the same name. The writing there is good and the scenarios
are intriguing.
Check out both the new fic and new link, and as always, questions, comments, feedback: contact me.
Till next time,
Beeg

Happy new year to all! Just a small update this time as I received a banner to post for an award my fic "Wicked
Ways" is up for. You can view it on the Awards, Adoptions, Etc. page.
Not much else going on at the moment. My scanner's down, so I can't post any new art (even if I had any!) And no fics
presently in the works. I know there's some good fanfic out there by other authors that I would like to put up in the favorites
section, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Soon though. I promise.
Till next time,
BeElleGee

Happy Holidays! Don't eat too much turkey now.
But if you do, don't worry. I have some shiny new content for that after-dinner-down-time you're going to need to help
the digestion.
No new art this update, but I do have a couple of new fics for your reading pleasure.
Happiness. I've seemed to found my way back to my word processor. The result: "The Detente" which takes place
a short time following NIC, and is rated NC-17. In it, the Nimir-Raj develops an infatuation of sorts for Asher. (Canonical
liberties were taken, so consider yourself warned.)
The second fic is by the wondrous and talented Ruas called "1749". Belle Morte and company travel to Morvoren's
stronghold on business. This story tells of Damian and Jean-Claude's first encounter. Please do not be daunted by the length
of this piece. It is so well-written, you'll be hooked by the second paragraph. I certainly was. Check it out on the Fanfiction
Favorites Archive page.
I changed the music back to "A Warm Place" only because some of you felt "Leaving Hope" was too long
and too distracting. I did discover the Active X pop-up is also generated by the presence of the background music. If enough
of you find that as annoying as I do, please let me know. I might just do away with the background music--as much as I'd
hate to--because that pop-up is driving me insane. On the other hand, if it doesn't perturb anyone else, I'll just learn
to live with it. Cue feedback.
Shamefully, I still have not read Danse Macabre, Micah, or the new anthology that's out (the title of which escapes me),
but perhaps that's why I'm still writing, still updating, and generally hanging in there. Still hoping the series comes around
eventually I guess. You know me, ever the optimist.
Please note: following this update, I will no longer be sending out email update notifications. I will be posting notices
of updates in my LiveJournal http://www.livejournal.com/users/beellegee/. The reason for this being the list has grown to
an unmanageable size. Also, with the changes in my email service, the infrequent updates, and the ever-shifting fan base
making half the list--if not more--obsolete, it doesn't seem worth the trouble to me.
Till next time. Enjoy!!
